Will You Welcome Me?

“I don’t know much about religion or God. I don’t even know if I believe in God. I don’t really feel safe walking into a church, especially since I don’t know much about “church” either! Will I be welcome in your church? Will it “be safe"?

YES! We rejoice that you are considering God in your life and we are literally here to serve you. You will be greeted warmly. You can participate at any level you wish, or simply sit and watch. You may ask any questions, but we will not put you in any potentially embarrassing situations. You’ll be invited to our “coffee hour” and afterwards “Daily Walk” (our adult class exploring God in our life), but you will not be pressured to stay. We’re here for you, whatever that means to you.

"I have made some mistakes in my life, they have caused harm to others and to myself. I don’t believe I can ever forgive myself. I can’t believe God will forgive - but I wish, I wish I could start over. Will I be welcome in your church?"

Yes! Every single person in our church has a story. We were all broken or lost or “unworthy”. Most of us have taken a chance with God - “will He forgive even me?” Those that seek shall find - God does forgive all who come to Him. His love is unconditional. Whatever your story, you are welcome among us.

"I don’t think that my life would be acceptable in the church. Will I be welcome?"

As God welcomed us, we welcome you.  This question is important and relevant for every single person in the church.  As Scripture says, all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But God desires to lead everyone whose life misses the mark of holiness into a new life, centered upon God. Come and journey with us as we discover a new life together through Jesus Christ.

"I’m a Christian; I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.  I believe Scripture is the Word of God. Church is very important to me. Will I be welcome?"

Yes!  We are a Biblically based community serving Jesus Christ in this post-Christian culture.  We stand on the grace of God alone, worked out in Jesus Christ.  We believe God is calling all Christians to serve those who do not know the Lord.
